The Voigtberg Property lies in the Coast Range Mountains of northwestern British Columbia, approximately 140 kilometres northwest of Stewart and 150 kilometres south of Dease Lake. Access to the Property is by helicopter from seasonal bases at the Bob Quinn Lake airstrip on Highway 37, approximately 25 kilometres to the southeast.

Four main zones of interest have been identified on the Property, the original discovery Gossan Zone, the Gold Zone, the North Zone, and the Moly Zone. Since 2006, BCGold has run 2 exploration programs, focused on the prospective Gold and North zones and leading to the discovery of the Moly Zone. Work completed included geological mapping and prospecting, soil and silt sampling, a 412 line kilometre airborne induced polarization (I.P.) survey, and 8 diamond drill holes.

Gold Zone

In 2006, four diamond drill holes were completed for a total of 759 metres. Drill hole VGT06-05 was drilled to test the gold (Au) in soil geochemical anomaly in the Gold Zone. Anomalous gold mineralization occurs throughout the entire length of the hole including a near surface intercept of 51.15 metres grading 1.03 g/t Au. Within this zone, separate intervals of 11.27 metres grading 2.04 g/t Au and 4.17 metres grading 2.74 g/t Au were returned. Individual assays ranged up to 7.97 g/t Au over 1.3 metres.

Hole VGT06-07, located 160 metres south of the Gold Zone, returned interesting intersections including a 22.52 metre interval grading 1.02% zinc (Zn), with a higher grade interval of 6.13 metres grading 2.18% Zn.

Follow-up drilling in 2007 partially defined the zone over a strike length of 300 metres, and it remains open along strike and at depth. Drill hole VGT07-10 was collared 75 metres north-eastward of 2006 drill hole VGT06-05 and intersected a series of pyritic andesite/dacite flows and lapilli tuff, cut by a multitude of narrow monzonite dykes. A broad interval of low grade gold mineralization, averaging 0.41 g/t Au over 76.40 metres, is associated with this geology. Within this interval a 16.78 metre segment averaged 0.72 g/t Au.

Drill hole VGT07-08 was collared 250 metres south of hole VGT06-05 to test the southern limits of the Gold Zone and this hole intersected similar geology and mineralization with comparably low gold grades (0.16 - 0.22 g/t Au) over appreciable widths (25.65 to 76.62 metres).

North Zone

Drill hole VGT07-09 was collared in the middle of the North Zone copper-molybdenum (Cu-Mo) soil geochemical anomaly and coincident induced polarization (I.P.) chargeability anomaly. This hole intersected mainly pyrite-bearing dacite/andesite flows with rare monzonite dykes. A near-surface interval of 41.34 metres averaged 0.18 g/t Au and 0.019% Mo, including 14 metres of 0.05% Mo from 4.26 to 18.26 metres (see 2007 Significant Drillhole Intersections Table above) . The North Zone I.P. anomaly remains open to the north.

Moly Zone

In 2006, prospecting identified an area of surface bedrock molybdenum (Mo) mineralization measuring approximately 80 metres x 80 metres, 400 metres from the known Gold Zone. This represents the first recorded molybdenum occurrence on the property. Assay results from fifty rock samples, including 35 channel samples, averaged 680 parts per million (ppm) molybdenum. In 2007, a total of 8 grab samples were collected, yielding an overall average of 0.21% Mo (0.35% MoS2). Six of these samples assayed > 0.10% Mo (0.17% MoS2). The highest grade sample returned 0.41% Mo (0.65% MoS2). Mineralization is hosted in fractured and potassic altered volcanic rocks, proximal to an interpreted porphyry core. Mapping and prospecting in 2007, to the east of this area, produced 2 samples with significant molybdenum mineralization. The geology in the area of the samples is comparable to the Moly Zone and may represent an extension of the zone.
